Diabetic Nurse Clinic
This clinic is primarily for those diabetic patients that are non insulin dependent - ie those controlled with medication taken by mouth or by diet alone. (The clinic is additionally now seeing insulin dependent diabetics for aspects of their care not related to insulin dosage).
Patients will be asked to attend for blood testing prior to their visit to assess their diabetes.
During the annual 30 minute appointment they will receive a thorough examination and will be offered advice on issues related to their condition (diet, general health, travel insurance etc).
